Handwriting Recognition Hits The Cydia Store For iPhone

If there is anything missing from the iPhone, anybody who has used a stylus in the past would know that it is handwriting recognition.  It isn’t anything new so why shouldn’t Apple include it in their technology, right?  For some reason or other, we are not given this awesome addition although there is some kind of handwriting recognition for keyboards involving languages that use a more symbol-based integration like Mandarin or Chinese.  So what about the rest of us?  Well, for the rest of us, there is always Cydia to turn to.

That being said, you will know instantly that if you want handwriting recognition on your device, then you will need to jailbreak your iPhone.  We have the tools and the tutorials that are so easy to use and follow that all you have to do is just sign up with us here and we will make sure that you receive these things to jailbreak your device.  It is both legal and an easy process so you don’t have to worry about anything.  All you have to worry about it what awesome tweaks and enhancements you will add yo your iPhone once you have it jailbroken.

Once jailbroken, look for a tweak aptly called Handwriting Recognition.  It will be available from the Cydia app that is installed onto your iPhone after you jailbreak it.  And just as the title suggests, this is a tweak that will allow you to hand write whatever it is you would like to input in various fields.  It is activated via an ActionMenu and then you can write to your hearts content.  Of course, if you don’t put anything legible into the space, then you can expect nothing legible or sensible in return.

For all that it is worth, it may actually seem like a novelty tweak that you may want to use once in a while. After all, there is not that much when it comes to the implementation, we really were hoping for something that looked a lot more professional.  Still, the tweak does exist for all you fans of handwriting recognition and the Handwriting Recognition tweak is something that you can download for the low price of a dollar.  It’s also good to know that if you open the interface by mistake, you can close it just by tapping on the OK button and you don’t have to worry about anything entered by doing so.  There are no options to configure this tweak and once you install it, you will be able to invoke it as it is included in the pop-ups that appear whenever you select a certain space on a document.
