New Cydia App Allows You To Designate A Specific iPhone Function

If you all remember the tweak known as Dreamcoin, then you will have a firm idea about the tweak that we will look at here.  Basically, all apps have one function and that is to launch the application they are associated with.  Folder icons, of course, when tapped expand so that you can see all the apps stored within that folder.  But imagine owning an application that you could assign to do anything that you wanted.  This is the concept behind a new tweak from Cydia called ChooseMyFunction.

Since this is an app that can only be found on Cydia, you will only be able to get it onto your homescreen if you have a jailbroken iPhone.  That being said, a jailbreak process is easy to learn and use.  It is also legal so you don’t have to worry about infringing on any laws or breaking any kind of rules with Apple.  It is already a federal law that jailbreaking is legal, in other words.  So all you have to do is decide and sign up here with us so that you can use the tools and the lessons that we have compiled specifically so you can jailbreak your iPhone on your own.

Once you have a jailbroken device and you open Cydia, make sure to first let it update all of its own packages so that it will function properly.  Then you can search for the ChooseMyFunction application that is available on the default repositories found on Cydia.  The tweak itself will cost you $1.50.  Compared to Dreamcoin it seems that this tweak actually has more functionality and it is definitely something easier to use and will eventually be a handy little icon to have on the homescreen.  You will be able to assign it a loot of different functions from toggling your WIFI to calling a specific number as soon as you tap on it.  You can respring, use the icon as a way to turn off the phone completely, use it to enter safe mode, and even send an email to your loved ones or friends if you have to.
