WeeSearch Pro: The Smallest And Most Powerful Search Tool For iPhone

Love your iPhone?  Yes, we do, too.  We think the world of it so much that we use it to surf the Internet like crazy and take advantage of its search capabilities like when we look for the latest meme or the latest way to jailbreak our future iDevices.  But have you ever noticed that your search capabilities on your iPhone are actually very narrow?  Just think about it.  When you look for a certain video, do you see every single search site out there that shows that video and similar videos to it?  Or do you just see YouTube results?  This is actually a small but significant problem and it is thankfully all solved by a tweak called WeeSearch Pro.

But with WeeSearch Pro, which is a plug in by a developer called Jonas Gessner, you will be able to make search easy by having this installed in your iDevice.  This is because it adds a section in your Notification Center that will allow for you to search for whatever you want on the web on the fly.  Think about it.  Need to see a video?  Drag down the notification center where WeeSearch Pro is located, type in the name of the video in the provided text field and choose YouTube as the search source.  There are many different sources provided with the tweak including Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, Amazon, eBay, Wolfram Alpha (we love this site), Yahoo, Bing and Google Pic.  This basically covers your search requirement in a nutshell!  But if you want something more, the tweak also provides you a way to customize it in Settings so that you can add your own search source, whatever it may be!

What we love about the tweak is that it doesn’t close and then open Mobile Safari.  It actually has an overlay that acts as a browser so you can see what you are looking for when the search button is pressed.  Plus there’s a cool page-curl animation when you do it (we are easily pleased).
