iPhone Tips & Tricks #183: Undo The Ignore This Device Command

Pairing Bluetooth devices to your iPhone is as simple as turning on your Bluetooth option and then making sure your device is discoverable.  You will be given a bunch of options and one of them is “Ignore This Device”.  If you choose this command, you may find that when you do pair the device you once ignored before, your iPhone may not detect it at all.  There is a way to undo this command.

So that the device you ignored before can show up on the list again, you should turn off your iPhone and then turn it on again.  Any previously ignored devices will show up again on the Bluetooth list.

This tip works on all iPhones running on any iOS firmware version.
