iPhone Tips & Tricks #185: How To Add PDFs to iBooks

The great thing about the iBooks application in iPhone is that you will not have to download a whole new app just to be able to read PDF documents.  iBooks takes care of this duty just fine and what you can do is email yourself PDF files or have other people email you PDF files.

Once you receive the PDF files in your email, you can download them and then tap on the icon.  You will see an option that says “Open in iBooks.”  When you click this option, the PDF that you downloaded will open in the iBooks application in a totally different section specific for PDF files and it will be automatically saved there.

This works on all iPhones that support iBooks usually on iOS5 and above.
