iPhone Tips & Tricks #227: How To Share A VCF Contact

With your iPhone, you will also need to share contacts with friends or even business partners.  This is one of the reasons why VCF cards still exist.  You might remember these contact cards that allow you to send contact details to other people so that they can save those details in their iPhones.

You can do this by going to tour Contact address book.  Then tap on a contact that you would like to share with someone else.  You will see the option to share the contact.  Tap on that and you will be presented either to MMS or email that information to whoever you want to send it to.  Choose whatever option you think is best and the appropriate application will open so that you can complete the sharing task.

This works on allophone models on any iOS firmware version.
