iPhone Tips & Tricks #237: How To Share A Video To YouTube

So you take a really great video clip that you want to share with the world and not just to the people sitting right next to you.  What do you do?  Well, you sign up for a YouTube account of course.  But what if your video is on your iPhone and you want to upload it directly?  You will first need to do this over WIFI so that you don’t spend too much on cellular data services.

Other than that, you need to launch the YouTube app and make sure to log in with your account settings.  Then go to your Photos app where your video is saved  Choose the video that you want to upload and then edit it so that it is ten minutes or below in length.  Then tap on the upper right hand corner.  Choose the video that you want to upload and choose the Upload To YouTube button.  After you do this, you will be asked to fill up the fields necessary, like the title, description, etc.  Then you can begin your upload.

This tip works on all iPhone models running on any iOS firmware version.
