iPhone Tips & Tricks #244: Managing Tunes In The Cloud On iPhone

iOS5 brought iCloud capabilities to the iPhone which basically means that anything that you do on your iPhone will be easily reflected in any of your other devices that are using the same account you are.  So, for example, of you want to manage your music, you can do that with your iPhone and iTunes will reflect the changes wirelessly.

For example, if you want to download music from iCloud, just open your Music application and you will see the complete list of music that is available on iCloud, If you see a cloud icon next to the album or song, it means that the track or the album is in the cloud and not on your device yet.  Select the track or album by tapping on the iCloud icon.  Once downloaded, you will know that it is on your device when the cloud icon is gone.  You can also delete tracks from your device but they will still be in iCloud and also accessible by iTunes.

This is a tip that works on all iPhone models with iOS5 and above.
