iPhone Tips & Tricks #247: Sharing iPhone Apps You Like Through App Store

There are 650,000 applications on the app store and even though you have not tried them all out (which would be downright insane), there are probably those that stand out so much for you that you would like to share them.  Short of actually telling your friends about the app that you like so much, you can actually use the App Store to get the word around on your favourite apps.

To do this all you have to do is find the Tell A Friend option on your iTunes on the computer on the App Store application on your iPhone.  On the computer, each application has the Tell A Friend option with each application that you check out.  It will then open your email so that you can send out your recommendation to anybody that you like. On the iPhone, open the App Store app and then find the application you want to recommend.  Scroll down on that description page and you should be able to see the Tell A Friend feature there as well.

This is a tip that works on all iPhone models running on any iOS firmware version.
