iPhone Tips & Tricks #251: Stream A PodCast Over Cellular

Ever needed to stream a podcast straight to your iPhone because you forgot to download the podcasts straight to your device?  If you are nowhere near a WIFI zone, you may need to use your cellular data connection and this can be the best solution since downloading will limit you only to 20MB over cellular.

To stream, just launch the iTunes application on your iPhone, tap on Search and then look for the podcast that you want to stream.  Tap on the one you want and then tap on the title.  Do not tap on the Free button.  Now your Quicktime player will launch and start streaming your podcast.  This will even work in the background if you need to change apps.

This is a tip that works on all iPhone models on any iPhone firmware version.
