iPhone Tips & Tricks #271: Access Bluetooth Using Siri

Siri, the popular personal assistant for iOS users, does have its share of many limitations that we all hope to see fixed in the next version of iOS, iOS6.  One of these limitations are the ability to access Bluetooth just by talking to Siri.  There is one rudimentary way to do this with your iPhone 4S.

Firstly, you will need to create a contact and in the website field of that contact, you need to put the code for the Bluetooth system preference.  The contact name is Bluetooth, and the web address is as follows: prefs:root=General&path=Bluetooth.  Now, when you activate Siri, just say the word Bluetooth and the contact card will open with a clickable link that will take you straight into the Bluetooth settings.

This works on the iPhone 4S that is on iOS5 and above.
