iPhone Tips & Tricks #273: How To Protect Data On iPhone

The iPhone may seem like a pretty solid device but many people are always looking for ways to hack into your data either through the Internet or physically.  To make sure that your data is at its most secure, make sure that you have set a passcode lock.

You can do this by going to your Settings application, tapping on General and then on Passcode lock screen.  Once you have set this up, go back to the same location and scroll down to the bottom.  You should see the text “Data protection is enabled.”

This tip works on all iPhones running on any iOS version.
