iPhone Tips & Tricks #274: Integrate Facebook Into Your iPhone

The iPhone is a great device for doing things like social networking and social sharing on a multiple number of levels.  But to actually integrate these networks into your iPhone?  Well, this can be done too but not everybody knows how to.

For example, Facebook can be more than just an application.  Just open up the Facebook app and then log into your account.  Then in the app, on the top left hand corner, get into the Facebook options and then touch on Friends.  Choose Sync Contacts from the list.  Then turn the switch next to Syncing to On.  You will have all your contacts, their profile pictures and links added to your Contacts application.  You can even replace whatever pictures you have on your contacts with the ones from Facebook.  Each time they change their profile pictures, this will automatically update the Contacts application as well.

This works on all iPhone models running any iOS firmware version.
